MySQLi, right then

I was freshing up on PHP with MySQL, when I suddenly stumbled upon some information that the extension I was using was deprecated. Luckily the change to the procedural way was often simply adding i to mysqli_functions and changing where the parameters went. As I found out over at php.net.

Alas, it also means I can't continue on the tutorial I was following.
